Vacuum packs are used as an option for creating inexpensive packages that are durable, transparent and tamper proof.
Clear vacuum packs are used in conjunction with either a cardboard backboard or inlay to enable the customer to examine the product.
The vacuum packs can be vacuum-formed to closely fit your product, or a range of standard tooling can be used. There are three main variations of vacuum pack:
A cavity is encapsulated between two layers of card.
The cavity is heat applied to the backboard.
The product and card inlay are sandwiched between two layers of plastic.
All backboards and inlays can be fully printed on both sides. Most cavities can have screen printing applied.
